On Sunday, May 6, Modified Style Portland presents its Fourth Annual Fundraiser Fashion Show. Come join Neuro, the first truly functional beverage, and watch models strut the catwalk, showcasing the fashions of over fifty local designers -– all to raise funds and awareness for three local beneficiaries:
Sisters Of The Road
The Pixie Project
CHAP (Children's Healing Arts Project).

Not like (unlike) your typical fashion show -- Modified Style Portland is a fashion show fundraiser with a few lofty goals. We want to inspire people to get creative, to design, to be inspired. We also want to showcase sustainability and show support for local non-profits. By utilizing found and donated scrap fabric, in our fashion show, we aim to highlight how easy -- and fun! -- it is to donate to worthwhile causes.

Mayoral Candidate Jefferson Smith will be our emcee! Hot Biology will be our DJ.

Our 2012 all-star judges line-up is:

• Nicole Whitesell, of Shop Adorn
• Marjorie Skinner, of the Portland Mercury
• Lizz Basinger, of Lizz Basinger Designs
• Becky Ross, of Becky Ross Designs and Project Runway, season 9
• Lindsey Newkirk, of Junk to Funk

There will be a chance to buy your favorite creation (or creations) at the Silent Auction after the runway show, and a chance to mingle with other fashionistas helping out the community. This fashion shows it's easy to give.

New this year, we are featuring the 24-hour Design Competition and the Neuro Accessory Challenge. Artists took 100-percent recyclable Neuro bottles and recycled them into an accessory to be showcased at the event. Attendees will help Neuro judge the Neuro Accessory Contest by voting online for their favorite Neuro accessory.
